Black Mirror: Metalhead – The Robot Dog
One of the most terrifying things to see is when technology that is used to help us and make things easier, turns into a weapon that can hunt you down and destroy you.
In this episode of Black Mirror called “Metalhead”, the Robot Dog’s mission is to kill humans who are not apart of the “New World” or system. Those who fight against the system are the number 1 targets of these autonomys machines and set for termination.
The potential for something like this to become a reality is highly possible. Companies like Boston Dynamics have already created robot dogs that are highly advanced and capable dynamic movement. Amazon just recently released its new robot dog called “Astro” that has built-in sensors and is connected directly to WiFi where it can receive Alexa commands.
