When movie studios take video game adaptations seriously, you get a movie of quality and stature like Dynasty Warriors. Based on Koei Tecmo’s hit franchise series comes one of the most epic video game movies of all time. If this movie can do well like Mortal Kombat, we will surely be gifted with more sequels.

Not many will be too familiar with the Chinese comic book series called Storm Riders, but this Dynasty Warriors adaptation is looking to follow in its footsteps. With all the special effects, choreography, and pacing, Dynasty Warriors is looking like Storm Riders on steroids (which is a good thing).

The Yellow Turban Rebellion breaks out in the late Eastern Han Dynasty. With the help of his trusted right-hand men Guan Yu and Zhang Fei, militia leader Liu Pei successfully suppresses the revolt. The calculating warlord Dong Zhuo takes advantage of the situation and takes control of the court, stirring further unrest.
