The Matrix Resurrections (2021 Official Trailer)
John Wick Neo is back and is ready to re-enter the matrix and bring order between the humans and robots. Based on the look of this trailer, Neo is unaware of who he originally was. He is having abnormal dreams and starts to seek answers, just like what he started to do in the first movie.
Laurence Fishburne will not reprise his role as Morpheus, the the actor that took his place seems to be an okay replacement. Carrie-Anne Moss reprises her role as Trinity and looks to not have memory of her previous life. Keanu is sporting the same look as John Wick which may confuse the younger audience who haven’t grown up on the original matrix movies.
The sound choice for this trailer kind of throws this movie off. Taking away the original gritty feel of the previous movies. Maybe they will make that correction in the next trailer release as the date for the movie get’s closer. Overall, the action still looks top notch. We can’t wait to what’s in store next.
The Matrix Resurrections releases in theaters on December 22, 2021.
